Glamorgan 384-6 trail Leicestershire 420 by 36 runs
Colin Ingram became the second centurion of the innings as Glamorgan built towards a first innings lead against Leicestershire at the Fischer County Ground.
Ingram was on 84 when Glamorgan resumed on their overnight score of 281-4, and was slightly fortunate to survive when on 92 he drove an in-swinging delivery from Charlie Shreck at knee height back to the bowler. Shreck clutched at the ball, but could not hold on.
The South African reached his century by hooking a Neil Dexter delivery to the midwicket boundary (178 balls, 13 fours, two sixes).
He lost Chris Cooke when Ben Raine beat a forward defensive push to win a leg before decision, but just as he looked to have seen Glamorgan through until lunch, Leicestershire seamer Clint McKay found his inside edge with a delivery that came back and the ball cannoned on to off-stump.
Ingram's 137 was his highest score for Glamorgan in any form of cricket.
