Paul Edwards at Durham 38-1 v Lancashire
We had a toss here, Durham won it and Durham were batting very nicely thank you against Jarvis and Tom Bailey, until the latter, who is replacing James Anderson, caught the edge of Keaton Jennings's bat when the opener prodded forward. The home side are without both Ben Stokes, who is with England, and Chris Rushworth, who is with a muscular hip injury, whate'er precisely that may be. Rushworth hasn't missed a Championship game in the last two seasons, so it will be interesting to see how both sides cope without spearheads. James Weighell and Barry McCarthy come in for their first Championship games of the season. Stoneman already has 31 and is playing like a man in excellent nick. (If he gets out now, I'll starting getting really worried after the last day of Lancashire v Hampshire.)
