Hampshire 192/3 vs Warwickshire
Sean Ervine crashed an unbeaten century during the afternoon session as Hampshire took advantage on day one against Warwickshire.
Ervine helped drag Hampshire out of a 31 for three hole with Jimmy Adams to leave the hosts on 188 for three at tea – as they managed to get through the whole session without losing a wicket.
The Zimbabwean bagged his first ton of the season, and the 22nd of his career, in a stylish, well tempoed knock.
With him opener Adams continued his role of holding the innings together with his unflashy yet safe batting.
The left handed batsman reached 54 off 156 balls, in doing so passed 13,000 first class runs in his career.
