It would have been a bit silly if Surrey had stayed up with one win all season, this makes it a bit more respectable. Never really enjoy beating Somerset though.

All of 110.92. Useless.

Well that brought Sanga's average down a bit :( still in 3 figures though hopefully.

@Will Wow, that's close. I lost a game by 3 points earlier in the season, but also won one by 2...

oh I agree, I don't think he'd definitely be England's best bowler (that should be Anderson, to hell with the naysayers), but on balance of experience I'm not sure he'd do worse than Toblerone
by Rob Little9/22/2017 3:52:03 PM
TRJ isn't express either, of course, but he's not as wayward as Finny. Can do line and length when required.
by StaggerBreaths9/22/2017 3:51:28 PM
Maybe he isn't as bad as is being made out, but nor is he great. He doesn't have the pace to make his bounce truly scary. I don't see him winning a series, or even a match, where TRJ or Broad couldn't.

Could really do with Bess getting Foakes here - cricketxi.com
by Will Colwell9/22/2017 3:50:21 PM
OK, he was their best bowler in Durban and in the first innings at Johannesburg - but I think his being written off is largely as a result of an indifferent summer last year, and even then I didn't think he bowled *that* badly...

dare we remember that Finn was inarguably England's best bowler in South Africa two winters ago?
by Rob Little9/22/2017 3:46:55 PM
ie none
by Will Colwell9/22/2017 3:45:17 PM
More chance of Sangakkara getting out than there is of Finn getting MOTS
