Stat Attack
Lancashire v Middlesex
Middlesex have gone seven matches without tasting defeat to Lancashire (W2 D5).
The last seven times Lancashire have hosted Middlesex; it has ended in a draw.
Middlesex have not lost a match since 2015 (W6 D14); they have drawn their last four matches however.
Ryan McLaren (Lancashire) is closing in on 400 first-class wickets, he needs four more to get there.

Lees has been the king of easy runs this season, the only time he has got any is in the final innings of the game when the match is heading for a draw average will be awful without them
by nickcricket6/9/2017 10:59:51 AM
Notts still in a good postion, they don't look as good a side when Broad isn't playing. Not sure why Lumb hasn't been moved on. Been average for two seasons now will end up like Warks with a huge age gap if they don't start being though
by nickcricket6/9/2017 10:58:49 AM
Dom Bess is a bizarre cricketer
by Will6/9/2017 10:58:38 AM
Makes me chuckle, or at least it would if we weren't 44/3... at least you've got Colly?
by Angus Mitchell6/9/2017 10:58:19 AM
the beginning of the end for Yorks. I fear we're going to be routed for about 150 here
by Joe Williams6/9/2017 10:58:15 AM
And right on cue...

I mean, I can believe it. But yes. Shambles. Something in the heads gone (and at the top of the order).

Pretty damn silly I'd imagine, your season has been unbelievable so far hasn't it?
by Angus Mitchell6/9/2017 10:56:35 AM
The Div 2 promotion race is puzzling. I thought Notts and Worcs were going to cruise it, with Kent as the only possible challengers, but the wheels seem to be falling off at Worcs, and Kent have conspicuously failed to bowl out the bottom side. What's going on?
by Sam Inglis6/9/2017 10:55:39 AM
Angus, I switched from Middlesex to chuffing Durham. How do you think I feel?
by StaggerBreaths6/9/2017 10:55:31 AM
StaggerBreaths - Yes played against Yorkshire earlier in the season, think he is still having flashback of Ballance's 311 runs in the match, he played a couple of one day games after that. Hard side to get into Hants
by nickcricket6/9/2017 10:55:05 AM
Dear God why do I support Middlesex???
by Angus Mitchell6/9/2017 10:54:44 AM
@StaggerBreaths He bowled about 5 overs when I saw him at Taunton two weeks ago
by Will6/9/2017 10:53:31 AM
StaggerBreaths - His Cover drive is the only bit of class Vaughan ever had to lose, My fave thing about Kohler-Cadmore is the took a lot of Vaughan Yorkshire age group records before getting a scholarship outside the County
by nickcricket6/9/2017 10:53:16 AM
Does Reece Topley still play cricket?
by StaggerBreaths6/9/2017 10:52:55 AM
Bailey continues his dogged effort.
by StaggerBreaths6/9/2017 10:52:38 AM
The only cricketer's twitter worth visiting this morning is Reece Topley's. Because for some reason only he knows he decided to retweet a terrible photoshop I made in powerpoint in 5 minutes

Good to see Vaughan promoting betting websites on his Twitter. Stay classy Mike.
by StaggerBreaths6/9/2017 10:50:51 AM
What on earth is that Lancs vid? Someone filming a laptop screen on their phone?
by Will6/9/2017 10:50:50 AM
StaggerBreaths - Oh yeah, forgot he played the 2nd XI Final yesterday.
No CompDog this match, fortunately(?). Just a Mala(n)mute.

Morning, So could Tom Kohler-Cadmore have played for Yorkshire today?
by Lawrence Payne6/9/2017 10:48:28 AM

Somerset v Yorkshire
Six of the last eight meetings between these sides have ended in a draw; one win apiece.

Yorkshire are now unbeaten in four outings (W2 D2) having previously lost three in succession immediately before this run.
Two of the three highest scorers with the bat this season in Division One are set to face off; Yorkshire’s Gary Ballance (610) & Somerset’s Dean Elgar (504).
by David Hopps6/9/2017 10:46:23 AM
Does anyone know what happened to James Burke? Surrey loaned him to Leics for this year but he hasn't appeared once yet, i don't think even for the Seconds?
by dez dezzy6/9/2017 10:45:23 AM
Lyth sloggin' he will be out soon
by nickcricket6/9/2017 10:43:20 AM
Alas Ballance's only fault has captain is that he doesn't bowl himself for Comedy value
by nickcricket6/9/2017 10:41:55 AM
Bess straight on!
by dez dezzy6/9/2017 10:40:48 AM
Sod it, Ballance can chuck down some leg spin too
by Joe Williams6/9/2017 10:40:23 AM
Spin on at Taunton, Somerset bowled 4 maidens out of 6. Pressure on
