Glamorgan are shocking but Gloucs aren't much better, really.

by nickcricket7/3/2017 1:01:58 PM
@dez i think the birth records are highly dubious. There no way he's 16! @LAwrence, thats why birth records are effectively made up. The only people who know are the parents. He moved over here quite young i belive
by Lord K7/3/2017 1:01:20 PM
Somerset have almost put on a 50 partnership

Some nonense is more equal than others.
by Matt Warwick7/3/2017 1:00:13 PM
Glamorgan really are a joke. Never get any crowds in, despite being in one of the largest UK cities, a side packed with Kolpaks/EU qualified players, despite them theoretically having a vast catchment area to choose from. People talk of getting rid of NOrthants or Derbyshire, but what have Glamorgan done for the national team in years?
by Lord K7/3/2017 1:00:09 PM

@LordK - seems to be a thing with afghan spinners - Rashid Khan looks about 40 but is apparently 18!
by dez dezzy7/3/2017 12:59:20 PM
Willey, DeKock, Tongue, Head for starters
by Lawrence Payne7/3/2017 12:59:10 PM
Surely if people recognised nonsense Matt, they wouldn't be here?
by StaggerBreaths7/3/2017 12:59:07 PM
@BethWatson Well he was suppose to be playing for Australia A (if that is still happening) Yorkies going to be wowed by the batting talent of...Shaun Marsh
by nickcricket7/3/2017 12:58:16 PM
Maybe Glamorgan should've stuck with van der Gugten opening the batting...
by SDHoneymonster7/3/2017 12:57:58 PM
I don't like the idea of banning things, I just wish more people read sensible publications instead and could recognise nonense.

Derbyshire playing 3 spinners. interesting. The Afgahn lad, looks a great propsect but does anyone actually belive hes 16? his crows eyes suggest at least early 20's. Add in the sketchy records of DoB in Afghansitan where he was born, indicates its all a bit iffy. Much like the African age group fottball players knocking a few years off their age to play in youth tournaments. NOt knocking the player as he looks good, just the veracity of his age!

Just noticed Matt Critchley batting at 5 for Derbys, good young talent for them. He is a leg-spinner but seems to have developed his batting (clearly intelligent and knows what he needs to do to play for England).
