I didn't read that because, well.. those damn Yorkies
by Aneesh Kumar4/15/2017 9:48:58 AM
Broad is a faster bower being prevented from playing three games in three weeks, Bairstow is an 'wicketkeeper' who hasn't kept in a match in 2017 and only played in one competitive match in January who likely has more drinks carrying with the ODI squad to come
by nickcricket4/15/2017 9:48:53 AM
Okay got that one.
by Aneesh Kumar4/15/2017 9:48:13 AM
Warks vs Yorks Aneesh.
by NemoUKS4/15/2017 9:48:10 AM
Great minds Lawrence.
by StaggerBreaths4/15/2017 9:48:07 AM
Same time post SB
by Lawrence Payne4/15/2017 9:47:50 AM
Whoa whoa, which was the George's report?
by Aneesh Kumar4/15/2017 9:47:29 AM
Hard to defend resting Jonny while the -o(a)keses go slam balls in the wrong format for piles of cash.
by StaggerBreaths4/15/2017 9:47:08 AM
Its the fact that they allowed to play IPL but not turn out for their counties, so not being rested just discrimination
by Lawrence Payne4/15/2017 9:47:02 AM
Woke up this morning already feeling irritated by the Worcs collapse I almost know is coming this morning... surely it's too early in the season to be feeling this way!
by investor_bod4/15/2017 9:46:59 AM
Oh yeah oh yeah. The record is held by one selfish sod. Go Cook.
by Aneesh Kumar4/15/2017 9:46:24 AM
This Cricket Supporters' Association (important to get the apostrophe in the right place there...) looks interesting, I've not seen it before now but will be joining.
by NemoUKS4/15/2017 9:45:07 AM
Jesus Christ Aneesh, don't let Sachin's army hear you say that! Anyway Cook's international form will have to take a bit of an upturn if he's to pass TONdulkar.
by StaggerBreaths4/15/2017 9:44:51 AM
And yes, I also enjoy that George Dobell begrudgingly snuck a match report into the last paragraph of his well justified harrumph at the ECB. I've defended resting England players in the past (and still will defend resting the all formats ones) but resting Bairstow and to a lesser extent Broad for these games is just plain silly.
by NemoUKS4/15/2017 9:44:11 AM
NemoUKS - with that technique? no chance just a county player no more
by nickcricket4/15/2017 9:43:56 AM
Nemo, he could well go on to be the highest run scorer in the game. Surely has tons of potential.
by Aneesh Kumar4/15/2017 9:42:03 AM
Hello hello. This Alistair Cook fellow - think he might have a future in the game tbh, looked pretty decent in tough conditions last night.
by NemoUKS4/15/2017 9:39:44 AM
Oh yeah. Close to 15 overs were lost at the Oval. Can make do with an early start
by Aneesh Kumar4/15/2017 9:38:32 AM
Do wish they could start early and make up lost time
by Lawrence Payne4/15/2017 9:35:37 AM
More hope than expectation here
by Lawrence Payne4/15/2017 9:34:46 AM
How are you, people? Excited for another day of (hopefully) fantastic cricket. Hope bad lights don't stop the fun
by Aneesh Kumar4/15/2017 9:21:59 AM
Weather is a concern, forcast not good tomorrow and Monday
by Lawrence Payne4/15/2017 9:20:17 AM
I'm more concerned with Rossouw. We need his batting!
by Matt Warwick4/15/2017 9:18:56 AM
Morning Matt and SB, its does bugger belief the contempt the ECB have for county cricket and its fans
by Lawrence Payne4/15/2017 9:18:30 AM
Me too. I haven't heard if Edwards will be back today. Life will be easier with him.
by sjcox1204/15/2017 9:17:30 AM
Morning all. I'm hoping these last few Middlesex wickets don't last long.
by Matt Warwick4/15/2017 9:15:12 AM
Morning all. Enjoyed reading George's scathing attack on the ECB barely disguised as a match report last night. Enjoyed less Durham's batting performance, but par for the course. Looking forward to Yorkshire's batting today...
