Coad bowled 8 last night, into his 6th here. Get Patto on after this over I reckon

Somerset not enforcing the follow on despite a first innings lead of 380. It must be pre-season...

StaggerBreaths - Why not there is a kid in the U13 who can't wait to bowl out Hampshire in the return fixture game after next

Yorkshire going for broke.
As in, broken bowlers.
That's the joke.
by StaggerBreaths4/8/2017 10:38:08 AM
Coad is presumably not going to go *that* much further down the Hampshire batting order because there's a limit to how many overs you want a 23-year old to bowl on the bounce even if he is winning you the mach, particularly when you've got five other bowlers unavailable for various reasons.

Couple of Bresnan deliveries have kept low, both the Dawson but he has played them well

Now, can Surrey pilfer 50 runs in six overs? I think they should go for it.

Great to see Coad come on, saw him bat live last summer in the white ball and though he looked like nonthreatening military Medium. Need Bresnan to get on the scoreboard, he is my captain and he got a duck with the bat and now no wickets

Morning folks. Will mostly be out and about today so shame mobile sign ins aren't working, but will be reading. This Coad fella eh, making a bit of a mockery of my pre-season prediction that Yorkshire's next generation might be found wanting this season. Meanwhile at Taunton, it's a lovely day to bully some students it seems.
