@DavidTaylor: Yup, could play more at Edgbaston. Very light rain now. Clouds pretty high. Some wind. Bit annoying, really.
George Dobell at Warwickshire (178 and 5 for 3) v Yorkshire (381)
It’s brightened up a bit here. Well, it’s brighter than when Bell was out. It had pretty much stopped raining and the umpires and groundstaff were having a chat. But it’s started to rain a bit harder now.
Trego at 158-1 but with only 97 needed it's a bit late. Treated to a glorious off drive by Tom Westley
Stoneman's f/c average counts against him - although half his innings were played on challenging pitches in Chester-le-Street
Tim Wigmore at Surrey 232-6 v Lancashire
Suddenly Surrey are in a mighty mess. They were cruising all morning, only for Burns and Sangakkara to fall softly before lunch. Since then, the left-arm spinners have inflicted a might squeeze upon Surrey. In 16 overs in 43 minutes since lunch, Surrey have scored just eight runs while losing two wickets - Foakes, yorked by a quicker ball by Kerrigan, and then Sibley, sent back by Ansari and run out off a misfield after a funereal 86-ball ten. Surrey need another 89 to avoid the follow-on, which suddenly feels very relevant.
