sorry who is TKC?
by Kevin6/22/2017 1:43:37 PM
@SDHoneymonster Wonder if it is an age thing as well, when he was in the prime age to be picked SA had a very stable lineup
by nickcricket6/22/2017 1:43:34 PM
@StaggerBreaths - Like Pakistan?
by Courtney Nangle6/22/2017 1:42:17 PM
Heino Kuhn opening the batting for SA A. Amazed he's never played a test, been around for donkey's years. Always thought it was a highly unfortunate last name given South Africa's racial history however...
by SDHoneymonster6/22/2017 1:38:48 PM
They'll probably want to nick a couple of seam bowlers from somewhere too. Preferably somewhere that produces lots of them but can't pay them much...

It has been a very stable lineup for a long time added to the former England players returning but it seem they have all gone passed their best at the same time is remarkable. There isn't any in between ages either its the old hands Trott, Bell, Barker, Patel ect then Umeed and Hain at the other extreme. As Beth darkly hints they will be in the market for players coming into those peek years, they tried to sign TKC and offered a better deal than Yorkshire so would expect them to be talking to any players who are coming to the end of contracts

If only there was a county just down the road packed full of young talent that they could tempt away with their TMG loot...
by Beth Watson6/22/2017 1:32:55 PM
Ah. Then yes, a clear-out might help.

Sorry Staggers, Warwickshire's. I was responding to how woeful they are this season

Eight of whose Courtney?
by StaggerBreaths6/22/2017 1:29:33 PM
Just read that 8 of their current playing 11 are aged over 30 - where is the youth (slight variation of Black Eyed Peas)
by Courtney Nangle6/22/2017 1:28:42 PM
Fabulous stuff from Simon Harmer for Essex - 14 wickets in the match; he must be close to a call up for England...oh, hang on....
by StuieBurley6/22/2017 1:28:29 PM
Come on Durham, don't waste the new ball...
by StaggerBreaths6/22/2017 1:28:18 PM
Not the greatest end from Foakes there. Cracking knock though. Something to bowl at. Assuming Porter and Curran open the bowling.
by SDHoneymonster6/22/2017 1:24:30 PM
Foakes' average protected.
by StaggerBreaths6/22/2017 1:23:40 PM
Guess Leach must have been Fox'd by Mulder...

Foakes going full-Chanderpaul and now playing for the red inker, takes the single first ball of the over.
by SDHoneymonster6/22/2017 1:22:30 PM
Still batting on, an England Lions supporter needs to burst into the SA A dressing room to complain about Jennings captaincy
by nickcricket6/22/2017 1:22:26 PM
I don't even see them getting promoted next season.
by StaggerBreaths6/22/2017 1:21:56 PM
Excellent from Essex that. Amir available next game and presumably Lawrence & Porter back (or are there more Lions games?)
by Kevin6/22/2017 1:21:39 PM
Must have been skulduggery in the field for Leachy to be bowled like that. Check for strings attached to the bails.
by SDHoneymonster6/22/2017 1:20:52 PM
Warwickshire are awful, and have been for some time. They need a clear-out from top to bottom.
