Been a few whispers doing the rounds about Billings for a while but nothing concrete as far as I know. Notts would make sense but we know how much Surrey love a keeper
by Matt Richardson9/28/2017 12:48:01 PM
Pure speculation. It's a little like an Ashes selection meeting
by PT10799/28/2017 12:47:23 PM
Billings to Notts makes more sense because they have an Chris Read gap, been an odd season for Sam. Has fallen down the England ODI pecking order from first reserve in the WI to not in the squad until the last match.
by nickcricket9/28/2017 12:47:18 PM
Is this all speculation or is something happening?
by NemoUKS9/28/2017 12:46:54 PM
@Kieran - that's what the bouncer told me last time I was out in Sevenoaks...
by PT10799/28/2017 12:44:56 PM
That sounds good Duluth.
by StaggerBreaths9/28/2017 12:44:39 PM
Billings to Notts would make a lot of sense, as would Billings to Surrey. Arguably though Kent were better this season with Rouse in the team
by Matt Richardson9/28/2017 12:44:26 PM
be some red faces on here and elsewhere if Vince smashes an heroic unbeaten ton to keep hants up
by Joe Williams9/28/2017 12:44:25 PM
To be absolutely clear, I don't want Worcs raiding other counties at all. I want us to keep hold of our own talent. I think that should be the way of it.
by Duluth K. Archaeopteryx9/28/2017 12:44:08 PM
Keep your mitts off Kent's talent!
by Kieran Layer9/28/2017 12:43:29 PM
Is there any news regarding Billings going to Notts?
by Kieran Layer9/28/2017 12:43:17 PM
Vince on 21, just the four fours.
by StaggerBreaths9/28/2017 12:43:08 PM
If you were looking at div 2 players who might want to make the jump Kent is full of them
by nickcricket9/28/2017 12:43:01 PM
Given that Mo plays all three forms for England, it's pretty irrelevant where he plays he CC cricket for the next few years
by PT10799/28/2017 12:40:52 PM
If so then I guess cheers for your service Mo and enjoy Div 2. Oh and Leach for England in your place (either Leach)
by Duluth K. Archaeopteryx9/28/2017 12:40:09 PM
There was some interest at the start of the season but there was a misunderstanding about the lenght of his Worcs deal. I am sure Warwickshire want to get him on a few marketing posters but he won't help them on the field
by nickcricket9/28/2017 12:39:51 PM
I like how Steel is being deliberately bobbins towards the end of the season to throw off the vultures. Attaboy Cameron.
by StaggerBreaths9/28/2017 12:39:28 PM
I thought Ali to Warks was virtually a done deal.
by Dave Knibb9/28/2017 12:38:58 PM
Ali to Warwickshire would be kind of hilarious at this point tbh
by Duluth K. Archaeopteryx9/28/2017 12:38:06 PM
Moeen Ali to Warwickshire...
by nickcricket9/28/2017 12:37:21 PM
Steel could be Mitchell's long-term successor. We could stick him in the 2s for a couple of seasons to prepare him
by Duluth K. Archaeopteryx9/28/2017 12:36:29 PM
Markham run out on 97 on SA debut...comical
by Dave Knibb9/28/2017 12:36:10 PM
At least Vince is getting some experience against Australian bowling here.
by StaggerBreaths9/28/2017 12:36:08 PM
@Duluth - not fancy a bit of Ryan Pringle? Hasn't been much clamour to steal him from Durham yet...
by PT10799/28/2017 12:35:55 PM
Yeah I'd rather we didn't tbh, but we're constant prey to the ravages of the Test ground sides. There should be better safeguards really
by Duluth K. Archaeopteryx9/28/2017 12:35:32 PM
Not sure what the right word is for Vince getting picked as England's #3 for the ashes and then seeing his record next to Dawson's on the scorecard... Upsetting maybe.
by Samora RL9/28/2017 12:35:11 PM
Clarke has got another year on his contract
by nickcricket9/28/2017 12:34:30 PM
How about not doing that.
by StaggerBreaths9/28/2017 12:34:07 PM
@PT1079 Maybe. A good overseas spinner has been our way, on the whole - maybe Yasir Shah can be tempted back after his heroic role in our 400 runchase of Kent? We could of course turn full hypocrite and raid the D2 'minnows' of their talent. If Clarke goes then I demand at least Callum Parkinson
by Duluth K. Archaeopteryx9/28/2017 12:33:39 PM
Ah yes, I thought it might have been.
by StaggerBreaths9/28/2017 12:33:34 PM
Back foot drive, he has played two now
by nickcricket9/28/2017 12:33:05 PM
Vince gets off the mark with... what shot was it again?
by StaggerBreaths9/28/2017 12:32:33 PM
Vince rose for the Ashes to bring forth his cover drive
by nickcricket9/28/2017 12:31:59 PM
Looking ConVinceing out there.
by StaggerBreaths9/28/2017 12:31:45 PM
...and on the fourth day he scored again, in accordance with the scriptures.
by StaggerBreaths9/28/2017 12:30:58 PM
Sorry Duluth Louis K. Jagchaeopteryx.
by StaggerBreaths9/28/2017 12:30:39 PM
Vince is going to have to save Hampshire himself, and on the fourth day...
by nickcricket9/28/2017 12:30:18 PM
to be fair, below average is a bit of a piss take considering how this round of fixtures has gone in the main
by Joe Williams9/28/2017 12:30:10 PM
@Duluth - not sure India's schedule would give you much of Mr Ashwin. But a nice try. Fair point that you have a solid set of trundley seamers. Any danger you'll keep your ground dry this winter?
by PT10799/28/2017 12:30:04 PM
Stop copping my lines from the stream livechat SB ;)
by Duluth K. Archaeopteryx9/28/2017 12:29:43 PM
@George Brilliant news
by Dave Knibb9/28/2017 12:29:30 PM
England's Saviour and England's First First Spinner now. If anyone can dig them out of a hole...
