Cosgrove bowling to Patel would make the heavy roller redundant for sure.

Ravi Bopara, ruefully considering his close-of-play 84 not out and whether he would reach a first Championship hundred for three years

Don't know how much the entry fee is at Trent Bridge, but you must be getting a good return as far as kilo of cricketer / £ is concerned.

Can we all please respect Nick Selman's concentration as well as his strange conversion rate pls
by Matt_MYano6/20/2017 10:01:01 AM
Trying following Cricket at Lords, honestly make work look like a great way to pass the day
by nickcricket6/20/2017 10:00:17 AM
The Trent Bridge stream is completely knee-capping what work productivity I had left after this page, the bbc county coverage and other assorted social network stuff.

Netherlands worse than Scotland confirmed.

Samit Patel, timed out
by Will6/20/2017 9:54:56 AM
Hello all. Going leftside for first wicket bingo. Marchant de Lange out obstructing field.
by Haystack_Jnr6/20/2017 9:52:40 AM
You can't fault Hants they are trying to entertain, they have got a middle order of Vince, who is naturally hilarious. Rossouw who is hilarious though lack of performance and Bailey who is using a batting stance designed to make it look like he needs a zimmer frame
by nickcricket6/20/2017 9:41:53 AM
Moved on to new hants jokes like laughing at RR Rossouw a pound shop Tom Alsop. Taylor is only playing because Dawson is away will be back to the 2nd XI soon enough. Hants should stick Kyle Abbott up the order, he has a chance of a first FC ton today
by nickcricket6/20/2017 9:36:05 AM
Don't get Nick started...
by StaggerBreaths6/20/2017 9:32:02 AM
Didn't realise Brad Taylor was playing. Why on earth is he batting at 10? Hants must have a pretty strong batting line-up if they can do that.
by dez dezzy6/20/2017 9:31:38 AM
Ooh I hope so Dez.
by StaggerBreaths6/20/2017 9:30:36 AM
Samit Patel. Run out.
by dez dezzy6/20/2017 9:30:12 AM
Going to go Brad Taylor LBW
by nickcricket6/20/2017 9:29:32 AM
First wicket bingo? I'll go for George Rhodes, caught at slip.

Tough Aussie drills proving too much for soft spoken Jos
by Matt_MYano6/20/2017 9:17:42 AM
Would explain how Buttler had a broken finger last summer, they claimed he did it 'in a game' but it was all an ECB cover up
by nickcricket6/20/2017 9:12:19 AM
Is that one of their practice drills Davies?
by StaggerBreaths6/20/2017 9:10:15 AM
Hope Bayliss just stands in front of Buttler and Bairstow, toolbox in hand, saying "if you can catch a wrench you can catch a ball"
by M Davies6/20/2017 9:09:36 AM
Wasn't that for religious reasons as some parts of Asia it's dangerous for his faith to go to? I know Mo, Ansari & Rash were granted special security for one of the India Tests for that reason.
by dez dezzy6/20/2017 9:08:37 AM
They've got batting coaches Nick, what more does a 'keeper need?
by StaggerBreaths6/20/2017 9:08:29 AM
Its the same with the Wicketkeeper, England are expecting them to learn on the job without a lot of help. I guess they have Farbrace who was a keeper
by nickcricket6/20/2017 9:07:50 AM
That sounds like a particularly grisly cricket horror film.
by StaggerBreaths6/20/2017 9:07:05 AM
Not for all of it and he didn't go to Bangladesh

The Zero Hours ECB
by M Davies6/20/2017 9:06:29 AM
As per the photo with Ansari.
by dez dezzy6/20/2017 9:05:45 AM
He was with them in India?
by dez dezzy6/20/2017 9:05:28 AM
Yes but he doesn't travel with the England team which is a shame for the spinner England are expecting to learn on the job
by nickcricket6/20/2017 9:05:08 AM
At least they used a picture of the right Mushtaq. Unlike this Telegraph article which has a picture of Mushtaq Ahmed half way down www.telegraph.co.uk
