His batting average has just crept up over Jeetan Patel's too.
by StaggerBreaths6/27/2017 7:59:12 PM
Will he get there tonight? 7overs left

Umeed has nearly faced as many balls in 6 innings (556) as Ian Bell has in 12 (583).

I think he will try and charge at Parry and get stumped. Would be fun to watch his wicket fall soon, anyway
by Aneesh Kumar6/27/2017 7:40:38 PM
Lad has batted 51 overs so far... that's too much even by Hameed's standards.
by Aneesh Kumar6/27/2017 7:39:34 PM
I like to think that's how Umeed will get out too.
by StaggerBreaths6/27/2017 7:38:44 PM
A lapse of concentration playing an upper cut, always happens eh
by Aneesh Kumar6/27/2017 7:38:16 PM
Although prone to having a wild hack now and then.
by StaggerBreaths6/27/2017 7:35:12 PM
Very good at Leifing the ball.
by StaggerBreaths6/27/2017 7:34:59 PM
Vikings were in fact very good at defending.
by Aneesh Kumar6/27/2017 7:34:26 PM
Must be something about the -meed. Vikings would have been dour batsmen too.

Umeed is batting the way Hameed is supposed to be
by Aneesh Kumar6/27/2017 7:32:54 PM
@LawrencePayne Yep, had quite a few surveys form Sky recently and based on the questions I was asked this move doesn't surprise me
by nickcricket6/27/2017 7:32:49 PM
Dunno what you chaps are on about, Umeed's obviously solid gold.
by StaggerBreaths6/27/2017 7:32:25 PM
Thanks Nick, interesting times ahead methinks
by Lawrence Payne6/27/2017 7:30:43 PM
Bell is making a lot of deliveries too him look very good, either that or he is incredibly unlucky. Warks were in a though spot with the team, on paper it is a good team. They have got two ex Test players, two young players in Hain and Umeed and they had Westwood in the top 6 plus Riki Clarke and they would have hoped to see more of Chris Woakes. The pace attack as another year in the legs but even they seem to have gone over the cliff
by nickcricket6/27/2017 7:30:01 PM
Warwickshire could bat the 110 overs for 1 batting point
I hope HF Gurney does not get carried away with that wicket.
by David Cook6/27/2017 7:26:28 PM
The problem with Bell at present is that he looks clueless, and you could say that it is the case with most of the lads in the team. Will Rhodes has been signed to inject some fresh blood, it looks increasingly stupid that they left Varun Chopra and Laurie Evans to go. And signing Olly Stone too.
by Aneesh Kumar6/27/2017 7:25:32 PM
@LawrencePayne Probably but he hasn't had one since 2013
by nickcricket6/27/2017 7:24:00 PM
Been a lean couple of years for Belly added to his lack of form over the last two years of his England career, a lot of miles in legs given how early he started International Cricket. Guess it depends what his motivation is any maybe what Trott is thinking, Warks need to try and inject some youth or players in their prime years into the that lineup.
