what would the filter do if I played in the Lincolnshire league for Scunthorpe Town CC?
by Will Colwell9/27/2017 2:49:58 PM
@Joe It's not natural progression when the guy has never coached really.

by Duluth K. Archaeopteryx9/27/2017 2:49:31 PM
@JoeWilliams I just assume that Worcestershire can't have nice things any more. How Mitchell slipped the net I don't know. We had to give him the captaincy for ages I guess

@DuluthK.Archaeopteryx Is Clarke likely to come to Yorks?
by Joe Williams9/27/2017 2:46:40 PM
@DaveKnibb I don't think it was smug, think it was a case of natural progression, and i'm not sure that anyone involved in Yorks expected domination this year, certainly not given how obvious the deficiencies were last year, tho not sure it was expected that we would be quite as shit as this.
by Joe Williams9/27/2017 2:46:14 PM
To be clear, if Clarke goes to Yorkshire it will be a complete embarrassment for Yorkshire and county cricket as a whole.
by Duluth K. Archaeopteryx9/27/2017 2:46:00 PM
@DuluthK.Archaeopteryx I am sure bringing players in will be looked at, Clarke wants to keep which would suit Yorkshire but by next summer I suspect England will be looking for younger players and the last thing Yorkshire need is another part time player
by nickcricket9/27/2017 2:44:34 PM
Ah, scratch that. I'd forgotten Gayle had already passed it.

@DaveKnibb Yeah it was a bit England 2011, we going to be the next dominate team and with 12 months it was all gone
by nickcricket9/27/2017 2:40:24 PM
Wouldn't be surprised if West Indies got 400 at the rate they're going
by Joe Tompkins9/27/2017 2:39:08 PM
I thought Yorks were being a bit smug when they appointed Gale as coach, as if they had a dynasty set up for the future.
by Dave Knibb9/27/2017 2:39:03 PM
Ball instead of T Curran on his home ground is ridiculous
by dez dezzy9/27/2017 2:36:35 PM
You could always poach Clarke to add to TK-C
by Duluth K. Archaeopteryx9/27/2017 2:36:28 PM
With Worcs and Notts (likely) coming up I suspect we will go down next year, can't see anyone being as awful as Warks to prop everyone up, it'll take miracles to sort this batting line up out and the already old looking bowling attack will be another year older
by Joe Williams9/27/2017 2:35:17 PM
by David Hopps9/27/2017 2:33:58 PM
@courtneynangle Be a long answer, with a lot don't knows in it. Quite a few are simply not playing to their talent and may just be having a bad season Lyth, Bresnan for example. Others have been talented young players but have stagnated Lees/Leaning. The bowling attack is another year older and its good that someone like Brooks has got a some wickets recently because he won't be cheap and only plays CC Cricket. Is the coach the right man to build a young team? It was a tough ask for captain to become coach without any gap when it was just motivating an experienced team but now. Very different job
by nickcricket9/27/2017 2:33:57 PM
Terrible captaincy from Morgan here you have to say
