What's this 'double-Cowan' malarky? Don't we just call it a Faf?
by Kieran Layer9/6/2017 2:50:12 PM
But only after they sent Agent Pattinson (snr)
by Dave Knibb9/6/2017 2:46:57 PM
Well someone switched Warner on sadly
by Lawrence Payne9/6/2017 2:46:52 PM
In fairness its only retaliation after we sent Agent Hick to be their batting coach

At least if England lose the Ashes he should get shunted out of the Test coach spot.

I'm getting worried that Coach Bayliss may turn out to be Agent Bayliss...

should Hameed last 54 more balls he should have an outstanding opportunity for the double-Cowan
by Will Colwell9/6/2017 2:43:41 PM
Quite a comeback from Worcs from 89/6 to 243 all out, but can't help feel that given the power of Notts' batting and the difficulty of batting last on this pitch, a lead of 50 won't be enough... hope I'm wrong...
i'd also like to add that whilst I am a Yorkie my Hameed comment is in no way an attempted jinx
by Joe Williams9/6/2017 2:41:41 PM
Hameed playing his way onto that plane here, other than Cook we've not a single player capable of batting sensibly (slowly) whilst wickets fall all around them. Hope he makes a decent score here
by Joe Williams9/6/2017 2:41:11 PM
My dream is to have Westley, Northeast, and Southee in the same team. East yer heart out Stokes/Woakes/Foakes.
by StaggerBreaths9/6/2017 2:40:16 PM
Buttler getting out was Hameed's fault, the lack of scoring put pressure on Jos...
by nickcricket9/6/2017 2:39:41 PM
I'm worried to hear Joe Root say 'Ultimately no one knows Westley's game better than he does'. This is the Tom Westley who said he won't change his approach before the last Test and has 4 single figure scores in his last 5...Trevor Bayliss appears to be on a bit of a jolly I think...
by Dave Knibb9/6/2017 2:39:15 PM
Difference is that Hameed can but chooses not to, whereas Buttler can't.
by StaggerBreaths9/6/2017 2:38:35 PM
Hameed smashing to now, bit embarrassing
by nickcricket9/6/2017 2:36:20 PM
I was reading it wrong - your emphasis on 'qualified' made me think of the Laws/Hortons of the world. Plus I also forgot Loye ever played for Lanky. His cricinfo profile says he was actually told he was going to play a Test only to find out three hours later the selectors had changed their minds - how very England in the 90s!
