@Peter, Somerset had exactly the same scenario with Kieswiether retiring and Compton suddenly wanting to move back to the capital - we really struggle to fill that gap last year, but we didn't buckle as a team like Notts have. I think it is a mental issue, as there are clearly some very gifted players at the club.

Would think Notts will still have chequebook power, depends on their T20 Crowds. They used to be one of the teams I would make sure I watched with a batting lineup of Hales, Lumb, JTaylor, SPatel, Wessels ect but its not so attractive now
