6th of August 2016 England's Alex Hales and James Vince have done enough to earn a long-term investment says ISM BDM Micheal Vaughan

Middlesex v Surrey (http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/946897.html) is the only Championship game at Lords so far to have gone to a 4th innings

Bookies currently have Middlesex 9/2 to win the match, Yorkshire 5/4 and the draw 5/4 - so equal chance between a draw and a Yorks win according to the Brexit pollsters

@StaggerBreaths: not very

Vaughan either doesn't understand or is wilfully misintepreting the fact that it is generally considered important to avoid the APPEARANCE of conflict of interest, not just the reality. But enough of him.

I wouldn't be against Hales getting another look... and Vince is an ISM player so no surprises there.

Middlesex at 9/2 just seems like terrible odds...

When one of the overlords responds to you, and you have to look through your far-too-voluminous posting history to find the original question...

Can we agree to not talk about Vaughan today? There's enough good, interesting cricket to not have to
by George Potter9/23/2016 10:05:38 AM
Think we can forget the actual cricket, and just concentrate on slagging off the Lords pitch in all honesty!

You know what they say JP, every white rose has its Vaughan.

could you imagine holding a 4 day test match at Lords............crikey.
by Joe T Williams9/23/2016 10:06:57 AM
I think when Middlesex asked for a result pitch this is as close as Mick Hunt can get, one that will give a result in 6 days

#Lordspitchsoflat that people tried to eat it on Shrove Tuesday. #Lordspitchsoflat that it's starred in its own 2D videogame. #Lordspitchsoflat that if you rolled it up it still wouldn't work as a draught excluder.
