'...as Durham look to recover from a poor start at Headingley.' Oh Durham Twitter. Bit late for that.

Brendan Mulcahy - Yeah Brooks has also missed decent parts of the season

NO Steve what are you DOING (his SR just exceeded 35)
by StaggerBreaths9/9/2016 10:00:02 AM
Durham won the second XI Championship this week, lots of those guys will be in the team next year you would think. Martin Emmerson was saying before play that Scott Borthwick is likely to announce the decision on his future in the next week

How many double-figure scores do Durham have this far? This is beyond terrible!
by StaggerBreaths9/9/2016 10:08:57 AM
A SR of under 35 is common, feel a bit sorry for Ed Cowan. There are slower strikers than him around
by nickcricket9/9/2016 10:09:02 AM
@Richard Lake. Isn't it more to do with said batsman's strike rate? I think it has to be 35 or lower to be a Cowan.
by Brendan Mulcahy9/9/2016 10:09:20 AM
I think it's a term of respect Nick.
