A swivel pull against Jack Brooks sees the end of Sam Robson, who skied a catch to midwicket. Nice innings but he has not done the damage that he might have.

Durham 57-2 v Hampshire 472 for 9
England aspirants Mark Stoneman and Scott Borthwick fell cheaply as Durham limped to 57 for two at tea after Hampshire declared on 472 for nine.
Both were bowled by Ryan McLaren when playing no stroke, Stoneman seeing his off bail trimmed before Borthwick withdrew his bat too late and played on.
Since being heavily tipped to replace Nick Compton in the England team Borthwick has totalled 11 runs in three innings.
Stoneman and Keaton Jennings, who was on 23 at tea, made a cracking start with McLaren just as expensive as Tino Best as 35 came off five overs.
Light rain began to fall and although it didn't last long enough to halt play the heavy cloud cover suddenly made batting more tricky.
Stoneman departed for 17 in the sixth over and when Gareth Berg replaced Best he conceded only one run in his first six overs.
With the declaration looming, Sean Ervine tried to hurry to his century after lunch. On 72 he pulled Paul Coughlin for six and had sped to 93 when he attempted a scoop off the same bowler and was bowled.
Tea was taken an over early because of bad light.
