not surprised we've gone field first, batting is so fragile at the moment we can't risk crumbling.....

I'm fairly sure Middx. won't get many batting points Will.

Yorkshire: terrifying attack, terrifying batting (the latter if you're a Yorkshire supporter...).

Overhead conditions. Just think not.

Yaacov... that's optimistic. I'm going 60-4.

I thought one of these games was going to be a pink ball day-night trial - what happened to that daft idea, I wonder?

Just the five frontline seamers for Yorks. Is Willey playing as a specalist bat?
by NemoUKS9/20/2016 9:13:26 AM
It's 'only' four Nemo, Rafiq's a spinner... I think?
by StaggerBreaths9/20/2016 9:14:05 AM
Ok, change of mind. 65-2

Given Somerset's history at the business end of competitions I wouldn't be surprised to see them win and Middlesex / Yorkshire be heading for a draw ... only for a 4th innings chase to be artificially set up between the captains leading to a result and snatching the title away from Somerset yet again.
last morning prediction - somerset have wrapped up a win, middx and yorks both put on decent enough 1st innings totals, middx need to push hard to set a total and bowl yorks out for the title. Middx bat at 3 an over deep into the afternoon and play out a draw. Head shakes and hand shakes all round
