I read Monty's autobiog recently, Monty's Turn. it was interesting but a shame that it finishes around 2009......looking forwards to his next autobiog where he discusses how it all went so massively tits up for him

AB De V has an autobiography out doesn't he. As much as i love him as a cricketer, i can only imagine it to be the most boring book ever !

'I was great at everything, the end.'

'Apart from when I played the guitar.'

The old 'cat on the keyboard', Steve?

I read Graeme Swann's autobiography recently. I don't feel I learned much about the art of spin bowling.

Boucher's autobiog was a bit dull in parts, lots of him being good at things and then impressibly gribbly surgical detail about his career ending injury. Did you know they wiped his iris off his whites thinking it was a bit of grass?
by NemoUKS9/1/2016 10:43:00 AM
I can imagine that being quite funny though Sam.
by StaggerBreaths9/1/2016 10:43:22 AM
...no, Nemo, and nor did I want to really.
by StaggerBreaths9/1/2016 10:43:26 AM
@Sam Inglis A fair bit about useful legal defences though I'm sure
by NemoUKS9/1/2016 10:43:28 AM
Strauss' autobiography is also impossibly dull
by TomHarle969/1/2016 10:43:42 AM
Swann's is amusing. Nasser's & Athers' are good reads - mainly cos england were so bad in their era
by stevew1259/1/2016 10:44:01 AM
Ramprakash is OK too. Hoping Hick releases one, one day
by stevew1259/1/2016 10:44:36 AM
If you read his book, you'd think the biggest crisis in Strauss' life was his one bad season for Middlesex 2's
by TomHarle969/1/2016 10:44:41 AM
Yeah, for a properly fun autobiography you need someone to have been through a few disaster tours. Or decades, in Atherton's case.
