A lot of people seem to forget Bell's massively indifferent form in the last two years of his test career. He's averaging under 40 in the Championship this season so he's hardly banging down the door to get selected.

@Antony_Melvin not scored enough runs in 2 years of test cricket, and then been pretty non descript bang average in the championship basically

I haven't Robert. Bell's reached the end of his England career. What would you call that, exactly? Something catchy with two syllables...

Start the bandwagon!

Sorry, Come On The 'Ri.

Come on Surrey, 5 to go.

nice of Mark Church to add 'cracking delivery' - slightly surprised he didn't go down the whole 'splendid' route

The Sri Lankan Under-19s have two Silvas and one da Silva. This is getting silly.
by StaggerBreaths8/16/2016 12:48:48 PM
Meanwhile the current XI makes up for only one of each by having two Pereras.
by StaggerBreaths8/16/2016 12:49:28 PM
Silva means wood and Perera means pear tree. #themoreyouknow
by StaggerBreaths8/16/2016 12:50:02 PM
This means that you could make quite a good tree-related eleven out of them. With of course Mark Wood and Joe Root.
by StaggerBreaths8/16/2016 12:51:07 PM
well Yorks are f**king rattling along aren't we.......aware we're only 9 overs in but if we don't win this match and we can pretty much forget about the title with Midd picking up a win, hope this is just the lull before the big push but sadly i doubt it

the Brummie commentator pronounces Ansari as 'And Surrey' - confusing
by Russell Chapman8/16/2016 12:52:23 PM
Well he's not moving anywhere else. We also have Owen Morgan playing for Glamorgan.
