Especially given basically everyone's utter indifference to Glamorgan on this feed.

@StaggerBreaths Well said.
by Geoff Eisenhauer8/23/2016 10:25:31 AM
If you wanted to pick counties for this feed surely you'd go for Somerset and Yorkshire?

It is a real shame Geoff, I like basically everyone else on TMS, including the people most hate (Boycott, Swann etc.). Vaughan presumably adds some captaincy nous, but I can't stand him.
by StaggerBreaths8/23/2016 10:26:43 AM
@StaggerBreaths We truly are kindred spirits. Should we drink white or red today?
by Geoff Eisenhauer8/23/2016 10:27:48 AM
Vaughan on captaincy is actually fairly decent, just on everything else he irritates. Not a great judge of a player (not least for the ISM link) and seems to want to spend most of his time on air talking about Sheffield Wednesday.

Why not both Geoff, why not both.

Interesting that Ballance is Captain for Yorkshire given Lees has been leading the White ball forms. Not sure if losing Gale the batsmen is a big problem although he did play well against Lancs
by nickcricket8/23/2016 10:30:11 AM
@StaggerBreaths Because I have to work later. As it's so warm and sunny I think I'll go and open a white. Back soon.
by Geoff Eisenhauer8/23/2016 10:30:37 AM
Have a good time! (I'm in work now so my wine is all metaphorical.)
by StaggerBreaths8/23/2016 10:31:04 AM
(I'm actually more of a rosé man. Sweet tooth a mile long.)
by StaggerBreaths8/23/2016 10:31:37 AM
Vince hasn't come out at three for Hampshire, Vaughan thought he should be batting their for England...

@StaggerBreaths Rose? Yuk! So we are not kindred spirits. Do you ever actually DO any work?
by Geoff Eisenhauer8/23/2016 10:32:49 AM
on a separate note, I'm going to the Cardiff ODI in a few weeks and the public transport, i.e. trains, are absolutely pants on the day. I;m coming from Westbury which is a main line to Cardiff and can't get to Cardiff until 11:30, before a half an hour work to the ground. The friends i;m going with are coming from London and their train doesn't get to Cardiff until 11:00. I appreciate sport and transport are two separate things, but if you're going to have a major sporting event at least check to see if people can get transport there. utter shambles really
