yes, a consistently good player who by and large stays out of the headlines - the only thing i can remember reading about him which was contravention was when he was interviewed as the England under 19 captain (was presumably at Essex still) and when asked who the next big thing would be from the U/19 side he very modestly said himself and that he expected to be playing for the full England side in a few years time. The report i read was some time after the event, presumably when he was at Warks and it tried to portray him as being slightly aloof or arrogant.

@George, if Pakistan hadn't made such an unsporting declaration i'd be telling you to get your 'Unicorn' out. When the sun shines, the cider flows!

It's not lethal. 62 is not lethal to anything. Maybe to my interest in this match.

Chopra has a fine record across all formats, especially as an opening batsman, but surely it's too late for England hopes?

62 is in fact, tickety-boo. Definitely not lethal
by dave7/5/2016 1:47:00 PM
Dave, sounds like he made the mistake of trying to get into the England set-up with a personality.

What is going on with Middlesex? Slow hand clap please.

Last ten overs, 8 runs. Slow hand-clap is about right.

Because who wants batting bonus points anyway.

62 is probably lethal if you're chasing 61

@Yaacov, when you sy slow hand clap, do you actually mean the Icelandic thunder clap. Now, i would love to see (hear) that at Lords during a test match
by dave7/5/2016 1:52:59 PM
Flippin' 'ell, runs! Four of them? Where did they come from?
by StaggerBreaths7/5/2016 1:53:14 PM
PB for Rouse, looks like he got there in some style by hitting back to back fours of off Amir. Some will be saying that Amir is Rouse's B*tch before the day is out...

Anyone else think Bopara is the next Darren Stevens?
