Four wickets for two runs and Leics. are right back in this!

@robainsworth1 it was facetious of me. I know Zimbabwe hardly pay their players. Not entirely their fault, mind - the ICC have a lot to answer for. Maybe there should be an amnesty on their players who make a living in other countries still having the right to represent them in Tests? Or would that be 'unfair' on the players who stay in Zimbabwe? All very confusing and sad really

Bairstow wonder how many more times being asked if he wants to keepwicket it will take for Bairstow to go full Dhoni?

Ballance is different to the others he is more in the same boat at Morgan (Ireland), Robson (Australia) or Jordan (West Indies)

Feel for Tom, but at least Meaker stuck around long enough to get him to his 50.

Or the Currans (South Africa) or Root (Yorkshire)

The Currans are eligible for Zimbabwe too, I'd presume, based on dad.
by NemoUKS5/24/2016 2:02:46 PM
@nickcricket Not sure if Sam is eligible for SA - he was born in England whilst Tom was born in Cape Town.
by SDHoneymonster5/24/2016 2:03:51 PM
Adam Rouse at Kent is a Zimbo too, the disaspora seem to do seriously well at sport (there are a few around playing Rugby too, like Dave Ewers)
by NemoUKS5/24/2016 2:04:12 PM
SDHoneymonster - Well he can be Zimbabwe then, wouldn't want to ruin his England chances by not letting the selectors know he has other options
by nickcricket5/24/2016 2:05:42 PM
@NemoUKS David Pocock and Tendai Mtawarira are both Zimbabweans too, both pivotal players for countries other than ZImbabwe.
by SDHoneymonster5/24/2016 2:06:53 PM
Oh yep, I was just talking about those in England, lots of them in South Africa/Australia
