David Hopps at Warwickshire 96-7 lead Durham by 209 runs
We have had a Championship hundred on debut on Day 1, the best bowling display for Warwickshire for 50 years by a recalled England player on Day 2... surely we are not going to get a final twist with a dramatic Durham fightback on Day 3?
That fightback is well underway - Warwickshire six down and still adrift of a safe lead, especially with Chris Woakes now with England.
The latest dismissal gave me an indication of what George Dobell means when he writes about Hain looking like Trott - only he looked like Trott in bad nick as he chopped James Weigell onto his stumps - Weighell's third of the morning.
Then Trott looked like Hain, also in bad nick, as he drove loosely at Brydon Carse and was caught at the wicket.
No dismissal this morning has suggested this is a poor pitch - there have been a succession of good full-length balls and poor shots.
Does that devalue Chris Woakes' 9-36 slightly? I don't so, but if Durham collapse to 100 all out I reserve the right to baacktrack hurriedly later.
