Tim Wigmore at Surrey 167-2 v Lancashire
A zesty spell from Kyle Jarvis is threatening to bring Lancashire into this match. In consecutive overs he’s claimed both openers - Sibley, playing on, and then Burns, cutting aberrantly outside offstump. These wickets are a small reminder of the talent that Zimbabwe have lost: the country continues to produce some very fine cricketers, they are just seldom seen for long enough. The crowd here will hope they see plenty more of shots like that from Kumar Sangakkara - a pristine cover drive, a shot that has underpinned his magnificent career.

David Hopps at Warwickshire 158-3 v Durham
Trevor Bayliss, I know yu have an ODI to watch, but your man is IN. Jonathan trott has just flicked off his hip and deposited the ball into the hands of deep square leg. As he departed wth an angry swish of the bat, out steps Ian Bell, 34 years young, a batsman who has fielded questions from Bayliss apparently about whether he still has the burning ambition to play for England - eg in India this winter.
The last time Bayliss put playrs under pressure by identifying them as potential England candidates, their form declined - Durham's Scott Borthwick among them.
What will we get from Bell?
It's been a pretty colourless day for the neutral so this could be interesting. Bell ha sstarted with a resounding pulled boundary off Chris Rushworth.
Apologies to ian Westwood fans. He is in the 70s and has not put many feet wrong since 11 o'clock.
