Also both ODI series last summer went to the last game and as series were captivating

I loved the five-Test series vs. India! Not the format's fault that they limped home. I won't love this series coming up India but I'm glad that it's five Tests.

To be fair since the world cup, England have played some pretty riveting ODIs.

And I've forgotten the Australian series already. I only remember the NZ one because it was the one where England became good and BMac was playing. I struggle to remember the more recent series in SA as well.

India vs. WI could have been three Tests though, and that was the right length against Sri Lanka earlier as well.

Riveting is perhaps not the appropriate word, maybe spectacular....

Morning all. I can't stay long but I assume the pitch inspectors do not need to visit the demon track at Taunton!

We'll see how it turns out Geoff. ;)

Taunton getting quite a reputation to the point at which the inspectors might not have to look it up on map when they go there
by nickcricket8/24/2016 9:53:26 AM
To me any Tests again the WI here are a waste of time, awful side away from home. Grounds will be doctoring the pitches to make sure they get 3 or 4 days out of it

Was Tom Moores sent out as a nightwatchmen?
by nickcricket8/24/2016 9:57:06 AM
All depends on the talent of the relative sides doesn't it? Pakistan and England are both quite good but fallible, so it was a cracking series.

Dieter Klein an inspired signing, it would seem, despite George's extreme reticence.
