Alan Gardner at Essex 295-7 v Glamorgan 286
They've not had time to add "Division Two champions 2016" to the signage at Chelmsford station - but apparently a batch of t-shirts has been ordered from the printers, possibly in time for the trip to Canterbury next week.
The Essex players were in full song on the dressing room balcony last night - particular rousing was a rendition of "One Call Away" by Charlie Puth - but they've got to get game heads back on to finish this match.
And here's a yet another treat for the ECG crowd - Graham Napier coming out to bat, quite possibly for the last time in his career. Ryan ten Doeschate has just fallen lbw for 117, bringing Napier - who hurt his calf while bowling - hobbling to the middle. He has a runner in Dan Lawrence but may well resort to stand-and-biff, which would doubtless go down well.
James Foster, another of Essex's vets, is batting with his old mate Napes and, with Essex having just nudged into the lead, the good times continue to roll.
