Is there a bigger drop off from 7 to 8 than Livingstone to Tom Bailey anywhere in the country?
by Will Colwell9/14/2016 10:33:26 AM
Any batsmen to Andrew Gale is a pretty big drop

Dont think that does credit to the art of off spin
by Mark Boyle9/14/2016 10:35:24 AM
nonsense from the somerset comm, talking about Batty being selected for the Bangladesh and India tours. We're doomed if the selectors go down that route.

Rob Jones' FC average jumped by 2 when he hit Olly Rayner for 6.

Lot of people behind that one Doug. Thinking being that he's grizzled enough not to be overwhelmed by the occasion.
by StaggerBreaths9/14/2016 10:37:25 AM
Doomed? Bit harsh. Batty is the safe option, Tredwell-esque safe pair of hands. Not inspiring, but if you want to give the younger options a bit longer to prove themselves then he'll not disgrace himself (leaving aside all thoughts on his personality...)
